This summer will see the opening of the elegant Hotel Tortue (French for turtle) in Hamburg’s redeveloped Stadthöfe-Quartier.
A member of the famous Designhotels stable, the property features 114 bedrooms, eight suites and four long-stay apartments.
Sophisticated charm
The hotel is set in a landmark, early-20th century building that is also distinguished by bespoke wallpapers, contemporary colour schemes and sophisticated charm.
Focused on luxurious Hypnos beds, the guestrooms are relaxed and cosy, offering a welcome respite from the often windy streets of the port city.
Also on offer are five food and drink outlets, as well as a rooftop space with views over the city. Dining options include the Pan Asian Jin Gui, a French-German brasserie and the lobby level Bar Bleu.
