Luxury chalet firm Alpine Guru has launched what it terms a ‘Paw Pair’ dog care service.
On offer include dog-sitting, grooming sessions and dog meals prepared by a canine-focused chef.
This dog-pampering option is available in a selection of Alpine Guru’s dog-friendly ski chalets in Europe and the US.

Spoilt for choice
Among those properties featuring such high-end dog holidays are Chalet Lhotse in Val d’Isere, with its furniture made from reclaimed Mongolian woodwork, in addition to elegant chandeliers and plenty of cow-print furnishings.
Sleeping up to 12 adults in 6 en-suite bedrooms, the chalet also offers an open fire and grand piano and an in-chalet spa, complete with indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam and outdoor hot tub on the terrace.
Also on the (hot) hot dog list is Chalet Spa in Verbier, which features thick glass walls, dramatic fireplaces and traditional timber floors.
Sleeping 10 adults, in the chalet has a private cinema and games room, plus a private chef who’s a dab-hand at high-class cuisine for both people and dogs.
